We will be doing Christmas shoeboxes differently this year.  There will be NO general collection of items for the boxes.  We are asking you to fill a box on your own.  You may take one of the boxes provided at the church and you may choose from the items on the table at the back of the church to begin filling your box.  Our collection date is November 8, 2020.  Boxes will be taken to the collection center during the following week.  There is a $9.00 fee for sending each box.  The church will be paying this fee.  If you wish to help pay the fees, make all donations clearly marked Christmas Boxes.

To build a box, you must first choose the age and sex of the child.  Then, fill the box with the following categories:  A WOW item, personal care items, clothing and accessories, crafts and accessories, and toys.

DO NOT INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:  Candy, toothpaste, gum, used or damaged items, war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures, chocolate or food, seeds, fruit rolls or other fruit snacks, drink mixes (powdered or liquid), liquids or lotions, medications or vitamins, breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers, aerosol cans.

You may choose to Build a Box online by going to the Operation Christmas Child website and following their directions.  The cost is $25.00.
